Camila studied Fine Arts and Art History in Colombia at Universidad de los Andes. In 2018 she graduated from RISD (Rhode Island School of Design) with an MFA in printmaking. Soon after, she moved to New York City to work at Lesley Dill's studio and papermaking studio Dieu Donné which contributed to her knowledge about paper and fibers. Additionally, ceramics are fundamental in her art practice.
As for research topics, her artwork has two axes: gender matters, focusing on women's role in different spheres of society related to mass images, and how time transforms spaces.
